What You’ll Do

• Own full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close for a portfolio of client files, including reconciliations, accruals, and monthly management accounts.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements and supporting working papers.
• Prepare and review Canadian tax workpapers, including income tax and GST/HST filings.
• Review work prepared by Analysts, providing feedback and ensuring accuracy and quality before manager or partner review.
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact on assigned client files, liaising with clients and internal engagement leads.
• Identify process improvements and help maintain strong internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Support and mentor junior team members, and contribute to ad-hoc client projects as needed.

What You’ll Have

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of Quickbooks and / Xero.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi-client or outsourced services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client files independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and review skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with international clients.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to maintain overlap with North American business hours.
