Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing depends on scope and complexity (entity type, transaction volume, number of states, payroll frequency, and how far behind things are). We quote a fixed fee once we review your needs. Bookkeeping starts at $265 per month, and the full plan list is on this page.
Yes. The Pro bookkeeping plan and every CFO Services engagement are scoped to the business rather than sold at a list price, and multi-state payroll or multi-entity tax work is always quoted individually. Book a free consultation and we will price the actual scope after reviewing your entity type, systems, and volumes.
You can move up a plan as transaction volume, payroll, entities, or reporting needs grow. We scope the change and confirm the new fee with you before anything changes on your bill, so a busier month never produces a surprise invoice.
Bookkeeping is offered in Essential, Growth and Pro. Essential is our entry plan at $265: the same full accrual-based bookkeeping and a dedicated bookkeeper, but reconciled and reported quarterly rather than monthly, for single-currency businesses under 20 transactions a month. Growth covers monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation and adds sales tax filing and multi-currency support. Pro is a customized plan with bookkeeping and reconciliation as required, plus add-ons such as weekly accounts payable and receivable, working capital management, weekly fractional CFO oversight, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
Both bookkeeping plans include the software cost (Xero or QuickBooks Online, Hubdoc), onboarding support, full accrual-based bookkeeping, a dedicated bookkeeper, sales tax filing, client portal access, and multi-currency support. Priced separately are payroll management, business and personal tax filing, monthly accounts payable and receivable, and fractional CFO work such as monthly strategy calls and cash flow forecasting.
Additional add-ons include Sales Tax Filing, which covers nexus review, registration, filings, and reconciliation. Full accrual-based bookkeeping is not a separate add-on - it is already included in the Essential, Growth and Pro bookkeeping plans.
Yes, payroll is offered as Payroll Plus, Payroll Advanced, and Payroll Pro, and priced by headcount and pay frequency - use the calculator on our pricing page for your rate. Payroll Plus covers salaried, fixed pay runs with Gusto software included, setup and onboarding, federal and state payroll tax withholding and deposits, and year-end Form W-2 processing. Payroll Advanced adds hourly and variable hours, timesheet intake, time tracking and geo-fencing, overtime and holiday pay, and commission, gratuity and bonus calculations. Payroll Pro adds multi-state payroll and compliance, benefits and 401(k) deduction administration, garnishments and taxable fringe benefits, contractor payments with Form 1099-NEC processing, labor cost reporting, and a dedicated contact.
Tax pricing is organized by entity type such as Limited Liability Company (LLC), S Corporation (S Corp), and C Corporation (C Corp), and then by plan tier. Pricing depends on factors like single-state vs multi-state filing, number of fixed assets, foreign reporting requirements, and the volume of Schedule K-1 (Sch. K-1) forms if applicable.
CFO Services are offered as three engagements, each scoped and quoted to your business. Performance Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) builds a tailored KPI framework and dashboards covering financial, cash flow, profitability, marketing, sales, and operational metrics, benchmarked against industry standards. Cash Flow Reporting and Management provides monthly tracking of inflows and outflows, a rolling forecast, early visibility into shortfalls, receivables and payables timing review, and working capital guidance. Cost Management delivers in-depth cost analysis, targeted reduction strategies, expense benchmarking, overhead optimization, scenario modeling, and real-time reporting on cost of goods sold (COGS), margins, and cash flow.
Plans are fixed-fee and billed on a recurring monthly basis to the payment method on file, which can be a credit card, debit card, wire transfer, or another electronic payment method. An initial deposit, a setup fee, or the first month's fee may be due before work begins. There are no hidden fees; anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before it is billed.
We typically work on a 12-month agreement so your pricing, scope, and team stay consistent through a full annual cycle, including year-end. If that timeline does not fit your business, we are open to discussing and updating the contract length together.
